Abstract :
Active and passive filters are used to reduce harmonic level in power systems. This paper presents techniques for designing these filters in the viewpoint of improving overall power system performance. Besides, a method for harmonic control optimisation for these filters is discussed and the conclusion is obtained through mathematical deduction
