Abstract :
The paper introduces a new very compact waveguide connector which contributes to the millimeter wave radar module minimization. The waveguide connector also eases the attaching and detaching treatments. The transmission loss of the connection part is measured with a WR-10 based prototype, and resulted in a less than 0.8 dB over W-band. Finally this connector is used in a radar module of 0.99 cm3 volume.
