Abstract :
The paper describes a multi-threaded multigrid finite element method using adaptive prism meshes for the package modeling. A robust preconditioning technique is provided for the fast solution of the resultant KEM matrix equations. The proposed preconditions is based on a multigrid scheme for the vector-scalar potential finite element formulation of the electromagnetic problem. Numerical experiments demonstrate its superior numerical convergence and performance
