Abstract :
This paper analyzes several kinds of the network failures and the characteristics of the UPS´s operation, and puts forward a plant for the fast detecting of failures of the power network. The basic principles are to put a time controller and a comparator in the control circuit; or to make smooth the half sine wave, which reflects the voltage of the network; or to decrease or even eliminate the filter, thus to improve the switching performances of the UPS. The complete circuit is given in the paper, including the switching control circuit in UPS. The theoretical analysis and experimental results show that this plan is both practical and reliable
