Abstract :
An approach toward higher dimensional autonomous chaotic circuits is presented. The author considers a family of Mth-order circuits that have only one nonlinear conductor. Any circuit in this family is described by an M-dimensional canonical equation. By applying the constrained technique to this equation, an (M-2)-dimensional Poincare map can be derived. This mapping and its Lyapunov exponents are useful for investigating various phenomena (hyperchaos, etc.)
