Abstract :
This paper briefly presents and discusses probability relations that help to put target track (and plot) management on a more rigorous Bayesian foundation. The relations are coherent with the kinematic estimation part of Bayesian tracking based on a Probabilistic Data Association (PDA) type approach. They should enable better tracking performance and traceability of results, particularly in distributed tracking systems
