Abstract :
The process of problem solving, calculating and design takes on character that a condition will be true forever once it is true. When workflow petri net is adopted to express such process, the scale of the network is too large to analysis. Hence the information/solver workflow net is presented based on information/solver extended petri net system. The corresponding definitions are given. The soundness and liveness of the net are analyzed. Followed the concept of compatible minimum same-start-same-end sub workflow net is proposed. The minimum property and compatibility of sub-net to original net are discussed. Finally the design process of sliding mode control strategies is provided as an example to illustrate the modeling ability of information/solver workflow net. At the same time the function of compatible minimum same-start-same-end sub workflow net in design process generation is explained.
