  • Abstract
    This paper describes an experimental multi-agent system developed for and aimed at supporting creative and collaborative conceptual design. First, this paper characterizes the pivotal techniques within conceptual design. Then presents a multiagent collaborative design system and shows the design flowchart involved in this environment. Next, describes the optimization model in task decomposition agent, assembly agent, and the structure in design agent and, more essentially, detail the learning tactics within the system. At last, shows the whole design process using this multiagent environment using a concrete design example of vase.
