  • Abstract
    A space-vector modulator (SVM) for polyphase voltage-source DC-AC power converters, based on the switching vector and the space-vector of switching functions, is proposed. The number of separate vectors increases with increasing phase number. However, odd phase numbers are more advantageous. In the square-wave area, only maximum amplitude vectors are used and the SVM is also based on them
