Abstract :
The development of the autonomous moving intelligent robot presents a challenge to existing control techniques. The author presents a new technique-knowledge control. The features of knowledge control are: to separate control knowledge from utilization of control knowledge, which enables knowledge control systems to contain large amounts of knowledge (theoretically it can contain an infinite amount of knowledge); and to transform the determination of control actions to the proof of unsatisfiable Horn clauses sets, which allows knowledge control not only to perform numerical computing but also to perform symbol inference, judging, decision-making, and planning. In knowledge control, numerical computing and symbol inference are treated as the transformation from one symbol row to another
