Abstract
Mobile IP is a protocol that supports a node´s mobility. Its target is causing a node to connect Internet anywhere and it does not need to change its IP. This paper bases on the route mechanism of IP protocol to realize a function entity in mobile IP-the home agent. We make a router to a home agent through modifying its processing mechanism of IP layer. So we can transmit packets to the mobile node without renewing any hardware or software based on IPv4. This work will be used in CSCW application.
