Abstract :
A new delay bisection approach has been proposed to solving the problem of the stability of fuzzy systems with interval time-varying delay. The time-delay is assumed to be a time-varying function belonging to a given interval. Based on a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a new sufficient condition on the asymptotical stability of the system is obtained by using the delay bisection method. Two numerical examples are also given to show the effectiveness of the proposed stability criterion.
