Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to explore the effects of intellectual capital on firm performance. Using data collected from 92 Chinapsilas high-tech firms, hypotheses were tested through hierarchical regression analysis. The empirical results of this study show that the three types of intellectual capital - human capital, structural capital, and relational capital - have positive effects on firm performance. Moreover, human capital indirectly influences firm performance through the impacts of structural and relationship capitals.
