Abstract :
We introduce a new data structure for managing electronic content for e-learning purposes, the so-called content graph. On the basis of these formalisms, several aspects of individualized, dynamic learning environments are discussed. These aspects focus on the integrative use of different metadata sets within a common content graph, the individualization and a situation-based adaptation of the learning process to the situation of the learner, the evaluation of different didactical concepts on the base of an identical set of content-units and the integration of authors as well as learners in a feedback-oriented editorial process that increases the transparency and the quality of the learning material.
