  • Abstract
    A new half-analytical method is presented for the accurate calculation of the winding ends leakage inductance in rotating electrical machines with wound armatures, based on the integration of Maxwell´s magnetic equations in the free space, magnetic images and surface distributions for modelling the effect of the slots and of the air gap. The obtained results agree with those calculated by the traditional methods
