Abstract
Results of experimental investigation of effects of random pulse width modulation on inverter-fed induction motor drives are presented. The quantities analyzed include the output voltage and current of the inverter, and the sound pressure produced by the drive system. A deterministic space-vector modulation technique and three random versions of this technique are compared for practical evaluation
