Abstract :
This paper describes a SWENET course module on formal technical reviews. The module provides an overview of software reviews, walkthroughs and inspections. It then focuses in more detail on formal technical reviews as an example of one review approach. The module is intended to provide about two hours of class lecture material and can be used in combination with an exercise that would take two to three hours. The module includes instructor tips, sample exercise instructions, and presentation slides
