Abstract :
On the background of knowledge economy, it is very important to edit engineering documents rapidly in order to enhance competitive power, of enterprises. But there are some problems such as the inconsistency of data, low efficiency in creating documents and nonstandard typesetting format by using previous software for word processing. Aiming at solving these problems, the system of computer aided editor for composite engineering documents based on ontology and semantic Web is put forward in this paper. The definition and attributes of composite documents are introduced, and the functional model of the system is described. Then the basic theory and concrete implement technology based on ontology and semantic Web to realize the creation and management of composite documents and integration of data are discussed and emphasized in details, in order to expatriate the means to solve those problems.
