OR rule and parallel processing technique in multiple antennas for spectrum sensing

We develop a new technique of spectrum sensing in cognitive radio. In most previous researches, the received signals at multiple antennas are combined together and processed by a single receiver system. In our research, we investigate the performance of system using multiple antennas. The received signal at each antenna is processed independently. OR rule proposed in cooperative spectrum sensing and the parallel processing technique are used to determine the presence of primary signal. In addition, we propose a new model of spectrum sensing using only two antennas which are based on parallel processing technique and OR rule. The performance of using parallel processing antennas and the proposed system are investigated.
