Abstract :
In this paper we propose the use of both current and voltage followers for implementation of a universal filter. There are several commercially available versions of these filters based on op amps. This class of systems permits us to obtain any transfer function, generally of second order, by means of external passive components. The aim of this paper is to show how by using only unity-gain cells as active components, one can obtain a universal filter with improved performances regarding classical ones
