Abstract :
Since complex dynamic systems can be characterized by an interconnection of many subsystems, possible control strategies call for a decentralized solution. In this approach, each subsystem is associated with an agent that tries to optimize its control action in a selfish manner. Selfish decentralized optimization is also performed in human economies, where markets are used for resource sharing. Therefore, this work considers the application of market-based algorithms to solve the optimal decentralized control problem
