Abstract
Stringent transient response amplitudes in response to changes in load current are becoming difficult to meet in standard off-the-shelf modular converters without adding thousands of μF of capacitance. These capacitors require extra PCB real estate, increase total BOM costs, slow response time, and cause unstable outputs. To address these problems, a user-customizable method of feedback control is presented and analyzed with experimental results shown.
