Abstract :
This paper proposes a new non-fragile H∞ filter approach for solving fault detection (FD) problem in linear systems. Firstly, multiplicative gain variations of the filter are considered, and the output of the filter is selected as the residual signal. Next, a sufficient condition for the existence of the non-fragile FD filter is given in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, an UAV example demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed method.
