Abstract :
A total transmission distance of 141 km has been demonstrated in a WDM system experiment for 8 channels of 10 Gb/s with wavelengths ranging from 1305.8 nm to 1311.6 nm. Raman post- and pre-amplifiers facilitate the 45.1-dB power budget
