Abstract :
Current activities for wireless indoor networks are concerned with wireless LANs (WLANs). Two technologies are suitable for WLAN systems: RF signals and IR. Focusing on IR WLANs, quasidiffuse links work with a point-to-point link from the IR emitter to the passive reflector and with a diffuse link from this reflector. The authors deal with the study of an IR Q-diffuse system for data transmission. Optical link features, presented as power budget, are studied
