Abstract :
This paper presents the implementation of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) controller by using Field Oriented Control (FOC) method. The digital signal processor (DSP) was used as a controller to interface between the FOC and the PMSM. In this project, a fixed 32 bit DSP controller TMS320F2808 is used to realize the drive system. DMC 550 inverter board by Texas Instrument is used to run the motor. The results show that the speed of PMSM was successfully follows the reference speed.
