Abstract :
Mobile networks have experienced an unexpected penetration and continue to impress with their extensions and applications. Better yet, a growing demand there is for new services that require high speed and require a good quality of the connection. namely that the flow rate will be improved by the operation of a number of antenna both in transmission and reception, and that we will improve the quality of the bond by the use of space-time coding block (STBC) [1]. Through the literature [2], [3], several propagation channel models were developed at the end of designing a communication system according to the environment of propagation of the signal and the standard adopted by such entity. These models are characterized by the power - delay profile (PDP) that describes a well-defined environment. Through the PDP, we create a channel at some length characterized by complex coefficients in a chosen distribution. The problem in the communication system is how to get the channel coefficients at the end to extract the data sent. In this work, we will see the impact of the channel length, the pilot arrangement and the number of antennas on the error of the estimation and later on system performance.
