Abstract :
A single field-based equivalent circuit model for different CPW discontinuities has been constructed and applied to commonly encountered CPW discontinuities, such as: open-circuit, step, right-angle bend, and T-junction. As an example, a power divider is analyzed by this field-based equivalent circuit, together with transmission line theory. Compared with numerical results, the average errors of S parameters are less than 2%.
