Abstract :
In view of the continuous and severe groundwater level falling, Jinghui Irrigation District of Shaanxi Province are faced with serious over-extraction of groundwater, that has threatened local eco-environment safety, as well as, agricultural water supply safety. Artificial recharge of groundwater is imperative. In this paper, feasibility of groundwater aritificial recharge is studied firstly. The results indicate that based on the rich and generous loess stratum and over-extracting of groundwater, irrigation district possesses about 6.46 108m3 storage capacity for accommodating groundwater according to capacity drainage calculation, and moreover irrigation district also possess very favourable conditions in recharge water source, recharge pattern and re-development of groundwater to restore groundwater. And then on the basis of above analysis, optimal allocation of irrigation water sources is discussed, the proper proportion of surface water and groundwater are determined at different target year. At last the paper points out that only standing protected utilization of groundwater can restrain groundwater resource shrink and groundwater eco-environment deterioration possibly.
