Abstract :
The most difficult aspect of EMI filter design is the noise due to radiated coupling. An experiment using a separate power test setup verifies the severity of this effect. Further analysis and experiments confirm that the conducted EMI due to radiated coupling in an SMPS can be reduced effectively by a good PCB layout and filter shielding
