Abstract :
Evaluation of groundwater hydro-ecological security is a new branch in the research field of hydro-ecology, and mainly evaluates the total state of the system. Screening indexes for evaluation of hydro-ecological security and constructing the index system which consistent with characteristics of ecological regions play a crucial role for smoothly implement the evaluation and ensure the accuracy of evaluation. In this paper, the reclamation area of Shihezi was set as the study area, the indexes were screened by principal component analysis(PCA), all screened indexes were representative for the original indexes, simplified the evaluation of groundwater hydro-ecological security.
