Abstract
In CDMA systems several users occupy the same frequency band. An adaptive array utilized in such an environment must be able to separate and extract each user´s signal simultaneously. Thus in order to avoid bandwidth overhead, it is preferred that the algorithm used to adapt the weights work without a training sequence, i.e., the algorithm should be blind. LS-DRMTA is such a kind algorithm. We propose a modification in LS-DRMTA in a way that the weight generated by the new algorithm multipath least squares despread respread multitarget array (MLS-DRMTA) can produce a radiation pattern with beams directed toward the several desired signal multipaths.
