Abstract :
Based on the hydrogeological conditions in the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain, the hydrogeological conception model is generalized, and then 3-D unsteady numerical model of groundwater is established. When the current hydraulic projects are kept unchanged, the model predicts water-level fluctuations from 30 September 2004 to 30 December under the condition of current exploitable methods of water resource, calculates groundwater allowable withdrawal under the condition maintaining positive development of geological and ecological environment, and this provides scientific basis for rational development, utilization and protection of water resources.
