  • Abstract
We present a combustor-integrated micro-fuel processor as a solution to the provision of hydrogen for a micro fuel cell. A suspended membrane structure design is used to obtain a good thermal management of the micro-fuel processor. The micro-fuel processor consumes 0.64 W to maintain a reforming zone of a 300 /spl mu/m/spl times/7 mm area at 300/spl deg/C. We confirmed the hydrogen generation by methanol steam reforming and the self-sustainable catalytic combustion separately.
