            Abstract : 
As an EMI filter is often designed to attenuate the noise produced by power converters, it couldn´t provide adequate insertion loss to suppress the noises under the EFT/B tests. In order to improve the high frequency performance of normal EMI filter to deal with the high frequency noises caused by EFT/B pulses, the structure should be modified. The modified filter structure is presented, and its effectiveness to improve EFT/B immunity of the converter is experimentally verified.
