Abstract :
This paper presents a new method to calculate and analyze the starting torque of a three phase induction motor by using finite volume method (FVM). The effects on toque with different rotation speeds are discussed. TEAM30 as an example is analyzed by using this method. From the result, it can be seen that the computing complexity and calculation time are reduced.
