Abstract :
The lifting wavelet transform is used to decompose the original ECG signal to approach signal with low frequency and detail signal with high frequency. According to the ECG frequency characteristic, some detail signal is ignored. In order to minimize the distortion of QRS complexes, the approach signal is filtered by an adaptive smooth filter with proper threshold value. By using the inverse lifting transform, the noises are removed, and the ldquopurerdquo ECG signal is reconstructed. Experiments show that this efficient algorithm can be used in real-time ECG diagnosis system.
