  • Abstract
Recently, asynchronous networking technology achieved a significant progress, there is a new “face-to-face” type-asynchronous connect device based on the Variable Frequency Transformer(VFT), which has well mechanical and electrical performances. In the article, in accordance with the running principle of the VFT device, the equipment´s Simulation model was constructed, and then this model was applied to different power grid conditions to explore the characteristics of its operation. Summarizing the operation of the VFT characteristics under the grid synchronous and asynchronous operating characteristics. Analysis shows that, The VFT device has a unique power and good performance of the asynchronous interconnect.
