Abstract

Presents a design and test methodology based on mixed-mode simulation that aims at improving design and test program generation. The main idea defining that methodology is to use software test tools during design, and to use simulation for test program generation, so as to have a good interface between design and test. That methodology associates the mixed-mode simulator SMASH and the instrumentation controller LabVIEW, to form a new tool: LabSMASH. An application is also given
