Abstract
This paper considers the problem of adaptive fuzzy control for a class of non-strict-feedback nonlinear systems. The fuzzy controller is constructed based on the monotonicity of K-class functions which provides the variable separation approach. The proposed fuzzy adaptive controller can guarantee that all the signals in the closed-loop systems are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded, and the tracking error eventually converges to a small neighborhood around the origin.
