Abstract
A method is presented for studying AC motor dynamic performance. The method is based on field orientation theory applied to the vectorial composition of induction motor magnitudes. An induction motor state observer which is insensible to TR (transient response) changes is presented. Several simulations are presented on AC motors, both regulated and nonregulated, in order to illustrate the proposed method
