Abstract :
A DC-DC converter utilized feature of the noise shaped to reduce noise of the DC-DC converter output. The noise almost caused by the switching, and those are very difficult to filter out. As a result, those noises will decay performance of the battery. Those noises also exhibited tones in frequency domain, so employ inherent of the sigma delta controller to suppress tones. Therefore, the prototype regulator can successful suppress tones up to 60 dB in range of 0-500 kHz by process TSMC 0.35 mum . The output voltage can regulated scope from 1.8 v to 3.3 v, at the same moment the input voltage range from 4 v to 3 v for load current up to 200 mA.
