Abstract
In this work, we propose a two-dimensional model of opinion dynamics, in which two agents are neighbors if one of their opinion values is within a confident level. We present elementary consensus analysis that reveals the basic characteristics. The consensus threshold under uniform probability distribution is analyzed by means of numerical simulations. Comparison is made between the model and the well-known one-dimensional KH (Krause-Hegselmann)model with a unified confident level.
