Abstract :
An approximate skew incidence diffraction coefficient is presented for an arbitrary impedance wedge configuration. The derivation of the diffraction coefficient is based on the available UTD (universal theory of diffraction) coefficients for an impedance half-plane. These are rearranged in a form allowing the identification and modification of terms as applied to the wedge. The new diffraction coefficient is then constructed, recovering the normal incidence impedance wedge solution.<>
