Abstract :
Microwave holography is currently being used in antenna and radome manufacturing and in antenna and radome diagnostics and repair. The subject of this paper is the examination of the resolution of the holographically reconstructed field at the antenna (or antenna-radome combination) surface and the interpretation of these fields with respect to diagnosing antenna and radome behavior. Measured data is presented to demonstrate achievable resolution and interpretation aspects of microwave holography.
