Abstract :
We propose a novel patch antenna with a small size and high gain. The conventional chip antennas are made of very high dielectric materials. They have a small size but a low radiation gain. Instead of using a dielectric material, the proposed antenna has a small size while retaining a high gain. The proposed antenna has a size of 15/spl times/10/spl times/6 mm, a bandwidth of 7.4%(@2.44 GHz. |Si/sub 11/|/spl les/-10 dB and 2.73 dBi gain.
