Abstract :
In this paper, a solution about the design of remote video monitoring system based on Arm-Linux platform and http protocol is introduced. It describes the overall structure of the system and the hardware that make up the video capture. Then, this paper discusses the design method of server-side software, and the V4L2 video capture program. Besides, the flow diagram of the network transmission is showed in detail. Finally, it displays the encapsulation structure of the data frame based on HTTP protocol. After testing the system, it has implemented the multi-client, and cross-platform remote video monitoring. Moreover, it has the advantages of low cost, easy use.
