Abstract :
In order to study the dynamic response of distributed small hydro and the influence on synthesis load modeling of the distribution network, the power grid of Hunan province is taken as the research object in this paper to study the influence of distributed generation on load modeling, in addition simulations of Hunan power grid with distributed small hydro clusters are performed by PSASP. Through simulations under different conditions disturbances in the grid such as different small hydro capacity and different location, an equivalent model of small hydro clusters is validated from different voltage level, and then the synthesis load model (SLM) with small hydro is presented. The simulink results show that, the equivalent model has a good description of the small hydro clusters.
