Abstract :
A method for refinement of a triangular finite element mesh is described. The refinement is controled by user selection weighing functions. A modified Newton method was implemented to handle bad initial data during adaptive refinement. Consistent current density distributions calculated from stream-functions in the global structure are proposed for use in mobility and ionization models.
