Abstract :
In this paper, a full wave analysis for determining the input impedance of a microstrip-fed-slot antenna on anisotropy substrates is presented. Typical run-out data includes the effect on resonant frequency by varying the anisotropy ratio. 17% change in resonant frequency was observed by varying anisotropy ratio from 0.5 to 2.0. It was also found that dielectric anisotropy has more effect on a shorter slot than for a longer slot
